Last weekend I went to one of my favourite spots and brought home one of my favourite kind of farm friends.
13 new muscovy babies to add to the flock. I just love their little sounds and their little jelly beaks so much! Plus they're amazing at not eating my garden while hunting down ticks and mosquitos!
Now I'm dreaming of a duck house with a duck run, and all kinds of sweet ways I can make their lives safe, and of course totally whimsical.

Mother's day weekend.
Good friends, good fun, good food, good times, and a good son to keep watch over the homestead and surprise me with flowers when we got home.
