Support and advocacy for inherited cardiac rhythm conditions & sudden cardiac death in the young.
💬 “There’s all these people out there […] who we’ve only just really learned about over the last […] six years.”
📖 Cardiomyopathy is a disease of the heart muscle that can affect people of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences. For some, symptoms are obvious. For others, the signs are subtle or misunderstood for years. For many, cardiomyopathy is inherited through generations. 🧬
This week, we’re exploring the biology and genetic origins of cardiomyopathy. 🫵 If you found this content interesting or helpful, stay tuned for the rest of July as we share and learn more about what cardiomyopathy really is.

And most importantly, remember to…
Think cardiomyopathy.
Act on the signs.
Know the symptoms.

⏰ …and that brings us to July!
🔑 The key to awareness starts with you:
Why does this disease exist?
What are the symptoms?
Why did my doctor recommend this treatment for me but a different one for my family members?
How can I contribute to treatment development?
📣 This is why the medical perspective matters.
📍 This July, we are focusing on the medical perspectives to help you answer the big questions, and learn the “Know” of Think, Act, Know Cardiomyopathy. We will explore topics such as genetics, research, types of cardiomyopathy, diagnosis, and emerging advances in care.
Think Cardiomyopathy.
Act on the signs.
Know the facts.
