🚚🚛 Hiring for a Class 1 Truck Driver - Based out of *** Campbell River ***

Orr Contracting is a family run business based out of the Mid Island and we are currently looking to add a Class 1 Truck Driver in the CAMPBELL RIVER area to our team!

Qualifications:

- Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean commercial driver’s abstract

- Physically fit and able to repeatedly lift chains, and carry heavy items if required

- Ability to work in a variety of weather, temperature and road conditions

- Safety Orientated and good communication skills

- Low Bed experience an asset

Job Responsibilities:

- Conducting routine pre/post-trip truck inspections and maintaining accurate records

- Operating tractor and/or trailers safely and professionally to transport goods and materials all over the island

- Maintaining positive rapport with clients

** Please note: This job may require some out of town work and must be willing to travel

We are a small family run business contracting based out of Parksville. We specialize in foundation excavations, site prep, demolition, road building, portable milling, land clearing and so much more! We have recently opened a trucking division and are looking for that right person to join our team.
