Mended by the Maker

What if the things you’re holding onto aren’t really about the things at all?
Today, God lovingly revealed something in my heart that I hadn’t fully recognized before—a scarcity mindset.
For me, it looked like buying extra food “just in case,” collecting clothes and shoes I didn’t need simply because they were on sale, and even feeling like I had to tell God everything at once during prayer because I was afraid I might forget something and somehow miss His blessing or forgiveness.
But during our walk together, He gently reminded me:
“You don’t have to tell Me everything today. Stay with one thing. We’re walking this journey together.”
That simple moment reminded me that stewardship isn’t just about our money, our homes, or our possessions.
It’s also about learning to trust God’s daily provision.
Jesus said, “Take therefore no thought for the morrow... Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” — Matthew 6:34 (KJV)
God isn’t asking us to carry tomorrow today.
He’s inviting us to trust Him today.
If you’ve been striving, stockpiling, overthinking, or trying to control what only God can provide, I pray this encourages you to loosen your grip and rest in the faithfulness of the Father.

Tokens of His Love 🤍
Today I asked God to help me become more compassionate.
He answered by changing what I saw.
Instead of only seeing people’s choices, He helped me see the pain, brokenness, and stories they were carrying.
It reminded me that compassion begins when we ask God to help us see people through His eyes.
Every person you meet today is someone deeply loved by God.
Reflection:

The first lie wasn’t just about a fruit.

It was a lies about the character of God.

The enemy convinced Eve that God was holding out on her.- that there was something better outside of God’s will for her.

I wonder how often we still believe that same lie today.

Maybe you’ve caught yourself thinking…

“God has forgotten me”
“Everyone else is moving forward except me.”
“If God really loved me, my life would look different.”
“I’m missing something.”

Friend, God’s heart has never been to withhold what is good from His children.

His “not yet” is always an act of love, not rejection.
Today’s message is a reminder to let God’s voice become louder than the lies you’ve been believing.

Some days the journey is heavy and all you can do is cry out to God. When He gives you a promise in that day choose to hold on to it and believe what He says even when you’re heart doesn’t see it.
