Hey Everyone, Mayor Dave Ryan has acclaimed July 9th, 2022 as PickWaste Day in the City of Pickering!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We are super pumped and are hosting a community wide event from 10 am - 1 pm at the South Side of Dunbarton HS.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The event aims to get every resident in the city of Pickering out of their homes to pick up litter.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The event will begin with the mayor's opening remarks, followed by a one-hour cleanup, lunch, and some networking.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As always, we will provide the gloves, bags, and volunteer hours. The only thing you need to bring is yourself.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

🍃Last Clean Up of the Year🍃

We had a great turn out a couple of weeks back at Rougemount and Kingston.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Our final clean up of the season will be this Saturday November 27th from 10:30 am - 11:30 am.
