Day 30. January’s 31 Days of Pin Cushions. For the entire month of January, I will be sharing one of my hand-crafted, slow-stitched pin cushions each day. As I face the post holidays where the glitter of Christmas has dimmed and the days, despite growing longer, can feel dreary, my wish is that these modest, daily undertakings will inspire you to explore your creative processes to overcome January's challenges. I encourage you to share and comment on the methods that aid you in getting through difficult January days. Each pin cushion features decorative hand stitching on my hand block-printed fabrics and is filled with ground walnut shells to keep pins and needles sharp. Functional items can be beautiful!
