KARLA B.- Creative Producer

While living and working in Havana, Cuba, Karla’s connection and creative organizational assets have been a main focus and life purpose in various disciplines of the cultural sector.

She was Sales Manager at Clandestina, Cuba’s first independent sustainable design shop. She then pursued as Travel Manager at OnCuba Travel, where she contributed in creating unique experiences and services that allow international travelers to experience the real Cuba.

She is passionate in linking her work-life together along with a female-driven team while surrounded by the most talented and nourishing communities. Currently living and working from Valencia, Spain, she is part of ISLAS as a creative and travel producer, maintaining her extensive network and reconnecting the international Cuban cultural diaspora with its roots in la Isla.

Mientras vivía y trabajaba en La Habana, Karla se rodeó y conectó con los protagonistas del quehacer cultural y creativo que encabezaban el panorama cultural en Cuba.

Fue Gerente de Ventas en Clandestina la primera tienda independiente de diseño sostenible en Cuba. Luego ejerció como Gerente de Viajes para OnCuba Travel donde contribuyó a crear experiencias y servicios únicos que permitieron a los viajeros internacionales experimentar la Cuba real.

A Karla le apasiona conectar su vida laboral y personal junto a un equipo dirigido por mujeres, mientras se mantiene rodeada de las comunidades artísticas más talentosas y nutritivas. Actualmente vive y trabaja en Valencia, España, y se ha unido a ISLAS como Productora Creativa y de experiencias, manteniendo su extensa red de contactos y reconectando a la diáspora cultural cubana con sus raíces en la Isla.
