💗 Meet Hugs! 💗

Aspire's Park It Summer Program returns on July 2, and we're excited to introduce the newest member of our team... Hugs! 🧸☀️

Hugs is our special comfort companion, created to help children feel welcome, supported, and included at Park It. Whether it's a new experience, a big feeling, or simply a moment when a child needs a little extra reassurance, Hugs will be there to share comfort, encouragement, and friendship.

You'll find Hugs joining our team at parks all summer long as we bring free outdoor fun, play, and connection to families across Central Alberta.

We're also excited to share that this year, Park It will have a consistent weekly schedule, making it easier than ever for families to find us!

Mondays – Penhold | Critter's Corner Playground
Tuesdays – Red Deer | Bower-Kin Community Centre
Wednesdays – Red Deer | Mattie McCullough Elementary School
Thursdays – Red Deer | G.H. Dawe Elementary School
Fridays – Blackfalds | Inclusive Playground

A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Community 🩵

Thank you to everyone who made the Red Deer Community Sun Run such a tremendous success!

Together, we raised an amazing $38,200 in support of Aspire Child Development Centre's programs and services, helping children with diverse needs and their families.

This year's event welcomed more than 500 registrants and brought together over 1,000 community members for a day filled with energy, connection, and community spirit.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated volunteers, generous sponsors, participants, donors, and supporters. Your commitment and enthusiasm helped create an unforgettable event while making a meaningful difference in the lives of local children and families.

Thank you for being part of this incredible community. We can't wait to see you at next year's Red Deer Community Sun Run on Saturday, May 8, 2027!

🌼 Learning happens everywhere at Aspire! 🌼

Today, our Circle Time took us outdoors to explore the beautiful flowers at City Hall before gathering together for a joyful circle in the sunshine.

Circle Time is an important part of each day, helping children:

💙 Strengthen communication skills
💙 Connect with peers
💙 Develop routine and confidence
💙 Learn through hands-on, sensory-rich experiences
