Cancer Support Red Deer

The end of July, already! Have any of you been to the Central Alberta Cancer Center at the Red Deer Regional Hospital, recently?
So many changes to the RDRH property. Accessing the center takes longer. You will get your daily steps in 🤣! Elevators down, basement corridors, elevator up and there you are; takes awhile.

Hello Everyone! How was your Summer and early Fall? Are you getting ready for Winter? Remember to dress warmly if going to and from treatments.
The Red Deer Hospital still has Parking Tower Construction happening, but not for long, we hope. The Cancer Center Parking lot is still open and opened a new temporary entrance a few weeks ago.
For those of you who want someone to pray for you, let us know. You can private message if you prefer.
If you need transportation here are three options: Golden Circle has Supportive Transportation - 403-343-6074, Comfort Keepers - 587-802-3365 and Red Deer Transit Action Bus -who can do Wheelchairs - 403-309-8400
It is best to contact them and see if they can meet your needs.
Cancer is a tough journey, we all know that, but a smile, for a stranger, could change their whole day. Remember to talk to each other at the Cancer Center: during treatments, waiting for appointments, help one another. I have had great conversations with complete strangers. Made my day brighter.
So, for myself - to those who are pray, I have another surgery on November 29th, I would appreciate your prayers.
