I'm sitting here on the edge of my garden a little intrigued about how much bounty will come about.
It's been an odd season with many peculiar and strange little surprises. From the very beginning stages of my seed starting to the soil amending and the summer Rollercoaster of rain vs extreme heat, pesky pests and all the after mess. To say the least, it's anyone's guess.
So to my local crew, if you know anyone who may have an abundance of jalapeno or other spicy suckers, please, send them my way.

You must(ard) try this!
It's a sunny day here despite the rain.
This one is giving a nod to my Mustard lovers w/ a whisper of Caribbean flavor. This is a 2 year ferment. Use it as a hot sauce or mustard. You decide!
Yellow mustard seed, mellowed yellow reapers and smoked honey are taking charge with this one. A little hint of ginger, pineapple, mango and Caribbean spice notes to finish it off. A few other ingredients to bring it all together. No name yet. Suggestions welcome. ππ₯
