THIS TUESDAY, MAY 12TH - ELVIS/SINATRA SING-ALONG
All welcome to join in singing top hits by Elvis (Love Me Tender, Are You Lonesome Tonight and Loving You) and Frank Sinatra (Fly Me to the Moon, New York New York, Strangers in the Night and My Way). We show the lyrics on a large screen, our musicians play and we sing the song together. It's as simple as that. Lots of fun and no pressure -- every voice is welcome. $2 donation at door. 7 pm at Grace United Church, 18 Chapman St. W., Port Dover. Questions? 416-505-1658.

Do you like to sing? Come out on Tuesday, April 14th for the Port Dover Community Sing-along as we cover two of the seventies most popular groups – ABBA and The Carpenters. We'll sing through their top hits – including Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Waterloo, We’ve Only Just Begun and Close to You, among many others No experience required - just sing for fun! TODAY!! Sunday, April 26th at 3 pm - First Baptist Church, Simcoe

The Lynn Valley Voices, Norfolk County’s only mixed-voice choral ensemble, invite you to their upcoming concert – The Musical Eras Tour: From Chapel to Concert Hall.

Founded in 2015, the Lynn Valley Voices feature more than 30 talented choristers under the direction of Janice Ketchen, with Linda Boll accompanying on piano. Their upcoming performances will trace the evolution of choral music, from the sacred sounds of the Renaissance and Baroque periods through to the refined compositions of the Classical and Romantic eras. Hear works by the world’s greatest composers – Vivaldi, Bach, Handel, Mozart, Haydn, Brahms, Faure, Mendelssohn and more.

The choir will also be joined by guest instrumentalists on violin and organ, adding a rich musical texture to the performance.
