Busy family weekend in the dog park this past weekend thank you everyone for your understanding with it being closed.

We have hit a turning point. Shadow arrived here just over a month ago. Skinny and scared of everything especially us. 😢
Our granddaughter came out a couple weeks ago( she is amazing with animals) this was Shadows turning point where she realized humans are ok.
Yesterday I was able to brush her with a halter and lead rope on, for a solid 15 minutes before she decided that was enough ( I think it is because I tried to touch her legs)
But after she walked up and this pic is the after math of the full on hug, chin in my shoulder blade pulling me in kinda hug. We got you shadow 🩷🩷
Now to tackle her hoofs- the last attempted ending with me on the ground rolling away from her 🤦‍♀️

Willow says good morning and that she loves her new treat. Everyday that starts with cookies is a good day haha

Yup that about sums it up all summer lol

3 weeks ago we join the equine foster world, we love it
side market in Stirling Ab has been gracious enough to let us place a donation box on the counter. Every little bit helps and I will forward all donations directly to Bear Valley Rescue
