Normally, online learning does not qualify for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), however, that has changed since the epidemic.

International students can now complete their studies entirely online while still receiving a PGWP. International students can now study online in Canada until August 31, 2022, rather than December 31, 2021, as previously announced. The policy was first applied in 2020 as part of a coronavirus-related effort to keep overseas students impacted by the pandemic from losing their PGWP eligibility.
