II SATYANAAM IIUN-SEEN IN-SIGHTS
“Kaagad likhe so kaagadi, ko vyavahaari jeev Aatam drishti kahaan likhe, jit dekho tit peev”.Whatever is written on paper has the value of a document, it cannot be translated into an individual’s personal experience. The inner feelings of an individual cannot be written anywhere; wherever I see, I can only see my Beloved (God).Scriptures, books, manuscripts are all good sources of information which can be turned into knowledge. But if the information is not used properly, it will have no value. Information can become knowledge, knowledge can become wisdom, and wisdom can become experience. The ultimate goal is the experience that one can derive from whatever knowledge he receives. Satguru Kabir Saheb preaches the Guru-disciple connection as the most important relationship in the transformation of knowledge into experience. There is an awakening that needs to happen which can only happen with the grace of the Guru. One can see what is written on paper, can read what is on the paper, can understand what is on the paper…. But that is not sufficient to perceive the imperceptible, to absorb the indiscernible, to fathom the inconceivable. Realisation of the Self cannot be grasped from books. In this saakhi, Satguru Kabir Saheb is highlighting the importance of ‘seeing’ with spiritual eyes. Such in-sight calls for intuition. Neither can this in-sight be obtained from books nor is the experience transferable. However, the outcome of the experience is such that it allows the awakened soul to see outside what he could perceive inside. Seeing God in everything, in anything, everywhere, anywhere, all the time.Mahant Jay

II SATYANAAM II
CLASSLESS
“Raajpaat dhan paaikar, kyun kartaa abhimaan
Parosi ki jo dashaa, bhayi so apni jaan”.
Why are you so proud of all the ephemeral wealth you have amassed? Know that your fate is no different than those who are penniless.
Many people are very crazy about their wealth and possessions, not knowing that none of these are theirs. This is the greatest misconception that people have; they attribute power to money, wealth, riches, capital. People fight for wealth, for possessions, and also for position. They do not realise that there are no differences between them and those people who are less rich or who are not in positions of power. There are also many situations where people lose their positions and capital. They are the same people, just that their positions have changed. This is why in this saakhi, Satguru Kabir Saheb is warning those people who are so proud of their status to come to terms with reality. Wealth or position does not change someone’s real identity or his purpose in life. Being richer does not make one’s path to realisation better or easier. This is also why Satguru Kabir Saheb was against the use of position to discriminate between people. The doctrine of caste and its practices to relegate people to classes where they cannot enter temples or other holy places is totally unacceptable. All such discriminations are unfair - whether they are on the basis of social class, birth, race, colour, language, community or country. Satguru Kabir Saheb professes only two types of human beings : the crow-type and the swan-type. And He clearly states that the crows can be converted into swans.
