Ever wake up feeling AMAZING, thinking this is going to be a great day...only to have it become another exhausting, draining day?

Are you up to your ta ta’s in REAL mom life in whatever city or town you live in😆.

River has been teething something fierce!!! This means that the incessant background noise in my home is whining...🤦🏻‍♀️

I dunno about you but the sound is like nails in a chalkboard for me.

He had me up through the night...woke up earlier than his usual wake up time AND then decided his morning nap wouldn’t be longer than 28 min. Yea I timed it 🤪.

I want to cry.

I want to call this day a write off.

BUT I won’t🥊.

I am stronger than my obstacles!

Anyone can do anything on a perfect day, those can take a bad day and still crush it succeed.

I want to thrive not survive so it’s up to me to change how I’m feeling.

I take all my frustration, annoyance, tiredness, and leave it on the mat.

Does that mean that my day is going to be rainbows 🌈 and butterflies 🦋 now?

I WISH 😅.

NOT A CHANCE!

It will allow myself to reset myself though and hope for a better afternoon 🤞🏼.

If not, I’ll be better equipped mentally to handle my beasty😉.

Today, I feel honoured for the invite to a Winter Solstice Gathering put on by FRAFCA. We celebrated the holiday season with traditional teachings shared with us by the Semiahmoo and Kwantlen First Nations.

Thank you to everyone that allowed this special day to take place for our children. Thank you for gifting Us with the prayers, teachings, drumming, dancing, singing, food, and great company 💞.
