Food doesn’t need to be a complicated, fancy, 50-ingredient dish every meal 🍽️ Truthfully, most people don’t have time for that.

Food is your fuel ⛽ It’s like gas, oil, engine coolant, etc. in a car, essential, necessary things to keep it running. We function the same way. We need an appropriate caloric intake based on our goals, lifestyle, and current body composition. But we also need to break that down into protein, fats, and carbohydrates. Protein is the priority 💪 after that, distribute your calories between fats and carbs.

Now this next part is where people often slip up. They see all these “healthy” meals online and feel like they need to keep things interesting, but in reality keeping it simple usually works best. Aim for a balanced lifestyle about 80% of the time sticking to nutrient-dense, whole foods 🥦🥩 think butcher, produce, outside aisles of the grocery store, and the other 20% allowing for flexibility 🍫

If you have the time and energy to cook more extensive meals that suit your needs, by all means go for it! But what I tend to see is people getting overwhelmed and then not doing anything consistently enough to stick to and achieve their goals 📈

When I say this girl is determined, I mean it. Her work schedule is wild, and on top of personal commitments, she still shows up for her training and stays dedicated to her goals. The saying “if they truly want it, they’ll make it happen” perfectly captures Rebekah.

Life is busy, but her goals are a priority — so she makes her training and nutrition non-negotiables. I’m not saying it’s easy, but she’s absolutely crushing it. Proud coach moment!!! 💪
