Today is Yom HaShoah, a Holocaust Remembrance Day when we commemorate 6 million Jews and millions of other victims brutally murdered by the N**is & their accomplices in WW2.
is more than just a phrase - it's a commitment to learning from history and preventing future atrocities.

In today's OVED meeting, Indigenous rights advocate Ryan Bellerose shared insights on the historical plight and trauma of Metis people whose culture, homesteads & livelihoods were destroyed by Canada’s colonial system. Some of the topics discussed included poverty, cycle of abuse, missing & murdered women, and what it would take to make a difference.
