Are you taking enough rest?

If you want to achieve progress, it’s key πŸ”‘ to listen to your body & be kind to yourself

It can be hard to slow down, but if you are looking for progress you need to have some easy days too. Not only your body gets tired, your mind also does.

A rest day with some active recovery (e.g. walking, mobility work) can be just as beneficial, that another day of pushing your body to the max. Rest days allow your body to recover properly, avoid injuries and be able to stick to exercise in the long-term.

I’ve taken a few days of rest this week and I can feel how my mind and body are well rested and ready to have an amazing workout.

What do you need to do today to feel how you want to feel?

Ask yourself first, how you want to feel? and then decide what you need to do in order to feel that way.⁠⁣⁠⁠

Many times, feeling the way I want to feel means drinking more water, or taking a walk outside, or sometimes I just need to move and exercise my body.

This approach can help you stay motivated to do the things that will help you become your healthiest version.
