Earth Day is nearly here and this year we are putting an emphasis on acting as a whole to ensure that we are putting action in preserving and protecting our planet. Join us on this day and Invest in Our Planet.

According to the Government of Canada “Moving water is the most important renewable energy source in Canada, providing 59.3 per cent of Canada’s electricity generation. In fact, Canada is the second largest producer of hydroelectricity in the world.”

The BOMA Beyond Earth Hour challenge moves beyond turning off lights for one hour to turning them off for the whole weekend. Join us in the competition of who has the greatest percentage reduction in electricity use over the “Earth Hour” weekend. Are you up for the challenge?
