Lots of buyers are looking for a bargain right now and honestly, I can’t blame them.
But it’s always interesting when an agent calls asking, “What’s the lowest price your seller will take?” before their buyer has even seen the house.
My favourite response?
“What’s the highest price your buyer is willing to pay?”
At least then we both know where the conversation is starting.

The GTA spring market is showing a mixed signal.
Inventory is up compared to last month, which is expected for this time of year, but still down compared to this time last year.
At the same time, buyer activity has increased year over year, creating a bit more balance in the market but still keeping conditions relatively firm.
Prices remain slightly softer year over year, continuing to give buyers some negotiating room.
