There has been ongoing news circulating about the Canadian government considering imposing a cap on international students coming to Canada to deal with the housing crisis.

First things first, this is being blown out of context with the former IRCC Minister and new Canadian Immigration Minister saying they may (a big may) consider limiting the number of international students

The latest BC PNP draw of 2023 on August 15, 2023, sent out more than 225 invitations to apply for permanent residency (PR) in general and targeted draws.

169 invitations have been issued in general targeting all the occupations, including 35 Tech occupations under all the BC PNP Skills Immigration streams as well as Express Entry streams.

Additionally, 33 invitations have been sent targeted at profiles with experience as Early Childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202).

Moreover, 23 invitations are targeted at profiles in 39 healthcare-related occupations.
