For sale is a vintage ‘Omega’ straight stitch sewing machine. Made in Japan, likely in the 1960’s. All the mechanisms are metal, no plastic gears or linkages to be found. This makes for an incredibly reliable machine that can plow through almost anything you put under the presser foot. It can perform an abnormally long stitch which looks great on heavier projects such as bags or upholstery. It features a drop feed dog switch which allows for quick changes from regular——>light fabric—>free motion sewing. It can sew in reverse. Built into the sewing table is a knee controller which takes the stress off of your ankle!

Machine folds down into table for fast and convenient storage. When closed (last photo) the table top measures 22” x 17 3/4”. Height is 30 1/2”.

*SOLD* is an antique Singer 31-20 Industrial Treadle Sewing Machine. Made in 1919 at the Kilbowie, Scotland factory. This model is the larger bobbin version of the popular 31-15, both were popular among tailors and seamstresses. The table has a side extension and back extension piece! 47” W x 25.5” D when extended, 38” W x 19” D when folded down. Table height is 29.5”. Perfect gift for the quilter who loves to do free-motion quilting on an old fashioned machine! Nothing topstitches beautifully like an old industrial straight stitcher. No original thread stand present, portable 2 cone thread stand included.

Over 30 hours have gone into refurbishing and restoring this machine. The treadle irons (legs) have been taken apart, cleaned and repainted. The tabletop has been stripped of broken veneer, sanded, stained and finished with shellac by hand. The sliding hinges for the back extension have been unseized, cleaned and polished. Knee lifter cleaned and lubricated. Brand new leather treadle belt fitted + installed. The original bobbin winder came broken, it has been replaced with a different Simanco bobbin winder. New parts installed: tension assembly, slide plate, small size feed dogs + needle plate (original slide plate, medium feed dog + needle plate included).

The machine itself has been properly cleaned, lubricated and tuned. Needlebar/presser bar assemblies cleaned, polished and reset. Bobbin case cleaned and polished. Hook assembly cleaned, polished and reset. Inner mechanisms cleaned and lubricated regularly. I have been using this machine for various projects these past few months. It performs incredibly on lightweight cotton, all the way up to denim and upholstery! Included are 6 original bobbins, pack of ten 90/14 needles, bottle of sewing machine oil, and the miscellanious extras pictured.

For sale is a Kenmore 3/4 thread portable serger/overlock sewing machine. Older model, well made, in great condition. Very smooth running, beautiful cut and seam. Stitch length and differential feed adjustment k***s conveniently located on the side of the machine. Relatively easy to thread. Perfect little serger for a sewer looking to take the next step.

*SOLD* is a Juki MO-804 3 thread industrial overlock (serger) sewing machine. The previous owners Grandmother worked at the Adidas factory in Toronto during the 90’s (see Adidas label). Great overall condition, with a few scratches here and there. Much less use than most factory machines see. The MO-804 features stitch length adjustment and differential feed adjustment. The internal oil reservoir lubricates the machine as you sew. Presser foot lifts with the smaller foot pedal, and it can also swing out completely for threading/cleaning.

The serger is mounted on top of a new table, driven by a new servo motor (quieter, more energy efficient and more controllable than a clutch motor). The L legs are fitted with heavy duty caster wheels that allow you to move the entire unit with ease, and then lock it into place. The height of the legs are adjustable and could be used as a standing work table. The machine head is easy to remove from the table, and could be swapped out as needed with other industrial machines (chainstitch, coverstitch, etc,). Perfect for adaptable workspaces.

Machine has been fully serviced (new oil in reservoir) with brand new knives installed. Perfect cut and seam every time, a real dream machine! Recently purchased a brand new table, motor, legs, thread stand, light and drawer for this machine. Selling because I don’t really use it enough to justify the table, and decided a portable serger is ample for my needs. I am sad to see it go, but have decided I want a living room!
