In 2011, Ontario resident Jana Bell, the passionate CEO and Founder of ARC, was inspired to act after witnessing the devastation caused by illegal logging and gold mining in Peru. This led to the formation of ARC in 2014.
Jana's relentless commitment has achieved:
🌳 Purchasing 334 acres to create a wildlife corridor linking the east and west Cordillera Escalera Mountain ranges, benefiting species like jaguars.
🌳 Acquiring a 1500-acre Brazil nut concession in Tambopata, Madre de Dios, protecting over 100 giant Brazil nut trees and endangered species such as the giant river otter, harpy eagle, spider monkey, and spectacled caiman.
ARC continues to expand, seeking sustainable and eco-friendly ways to protect the Amazon Rainforest and its wildlife.
