To break someone's fast is rewarding, and we all try our best to keep up with this tradition and transfer it to our children.
Ramadan on Rahma Road contains mouth-watering recipies from 25 countries across the globe.
The blessed month of Ramadan has special traditions across the globe, and each one is unique, which makes it special. has made this book a long life memory for my kids who are into cooking now a days.
Some recipes are easy, while others need some patience to try. Kids love to try new recipies, new flavors, especially my kids, being homeschoolers cooking is fun.
The first recipe is from Pakistan, and that's chicken Tikka, followed by a special cucumber raita.
Your kids will learn Egyptian Kushari, Palestinian Fattoush, etc.
Another fun fact, with each brief introductory story, your kids will learn the names for mother, father, or grandmother in the native language.

Remember back in December, when the whole neighborhood was decorated with lights, there were some houses without lights. Yes, houses of Muslims.
Have you ever tried to imagine feelings of a house? What if a house can tell you its feelings? Then you need to read this new picture book by
A little girl Huda moved into a new house with her family, and the house was feeling different. No lights like others' houses, working on Christmas day, etc, until it was time to celebrate Eid.
This is the books which I was unable to judge by it's cover. It was such a nice read with kids about Eid and family bonding. I loved the illustrations and the way of storytelling in this book. Please consider this as Eid present for your kids this year and a must-have in classrooms.
The end note is that it has interesting information that in 2033, Eid will project to fall on 25th December.

It is year 2018, and I’m preparing a lesson plan for my ESL class. I spent days and hours but couldn’t find a single, well written book by a Muslim author to my teenage and middle grade class. It is close to impossible for me.
“Why no one ever wrote anything for these girls who want to learn English but all they’ve is white people in western literature, non-Islamic issues, their problems and their lives. English isn’t just the language of white people. Either there is just non-fiction or preachy books in English out there, and these teens aren’t interested”. Out of frustration, I said one day out loud to myself.
Hence, I prepared a lesson plan using lectures by some famous English scholars and finished the session, but somewhere inside me, I secretly wished that someone should write something for these students, please.
Fast forward to 2024, I’m trying to keep an eye on every single book well written by a Muslim author discussing something about us as Muslims, our challenges, our lives, Alhamdulillah. I’m recommending titles to the local library, prepared pdf that contains almost every possible good book from my local library, and made it accessible for FREE since 2020 lockdown.
We’ve read
Secret garden in Islamic setting
Black Muslims and their life struggles
Muslim refugees in literature
Muslim Disney princesses
Stories set in Makkah and Madinah
We’ve seen so many books coming and breaking the stereotype of Western literature and filling my bookshelf. I’m grateful and humble for all your work.
Thankyou dear authors 🥰
