We FINALLY got to try last week and I’ve literally been trying to coordinate a class & interview with them for TWO YEARS. When Alyce (the studio owner) and I went back on our emails, we realised we’d planned the first class to be the very first week of OG Covid shutdown. 😳

But we finally did it and loved it. I’ve done F45 a few times before but this was my first strength class - which if you’re allergic to cardio - will be right up your alley.

Here’s a peep into our interview 👇🏼

FC: F45 is a franchise / tell us more about the Ossington studio history?
Alice: Kurt + myself moved from Australia in 2016 and opened F45 Ossington in Aug 2017. We were the 3rd F45 in the city. During the pandemic (crazy) we opened our second location F45 Galleria on Dufferin + Dupont.

FC: For real, how have the last few years been?
Alyce: No doubt the last few years have been tough for everyone. Our studios, like the entire fitness industry, have had to pivot more times than we can count. I'm so proud of our team who have rolled with the punches & supported both Kurt + myself through many ups and downs. We're so thankful for our community of members. It was strong pre-COVID, but now it's even stronger! Seeing our members return to the studio has brought us so much joy. WIthout them we would NOT have survived.

FC: What do first timers need to understand about F45?
Alyce: A lot of people think they need to be super fit to join F45. That is SO FAR from the truth. Our programming + classes can be as intense as you want to make it. Our skilled trainers are always on hand to offer support and modifications, and ensure everyone has a great workout suited for them. We really are all inclusive, and if you take a class you’ll see a wide range of members from all walks of life.

Currently our most mature member is 69 and youngest is 23. Both take the same class + both get the best workout in for them!

FC: Tell me promos on right now?
