[NEWS] As we continue to establish our company as the premier automotive laser scanning studio in Ontario, Canada, we’re constantly at the forefront of using the latest, most advanced technological tools to provide our clients with the highest quality of work. Our team is excited to announce our latest equipment acquisition: an industry-leading, ISO certified, industrial-grade laser scanner. This new, top-of-the-line laser scanner revolutionizes the metrology industry and sets a new standard for capturing geometry.

An industry first, our new portable scanner captures extremely accurate data with ISO 17025 Certification at 25 micron (in most cases, better). Our new scanner requires minimal to no stickers on the object for scanning and the new tracking system makes scanning large vehicles such as trucks, trailers, and even planes substantially quicker and retain extraordinary precision for large object volumetric accuracy. The unit emits 15 high power blue lasers, which enables us to capture the darkest gloss black colours to the most reflective colours, such as chrome and mirror finishes, without any need for coating or sprays. In addition to our custom, high-performance workstation, the blue laser technology also improves the level of detail we can capture, with the option to capture up to 0.025mm resolution. Our new system also detects and compensates shop floor vibrations as well as climate temperature fluctuations.

The new scanner is a serious game-changer for the automotive aftermarket and we’re excited to have this unit in our tools to build stronger resources and assets for our clients and engineers, as well as use the data to create innovative design.
