New Year’s Day is celebrated on January 1 and is a federal statutory holiday in Canada. Most government offices and many businesses are closed, with public observance recognized in most provinces and territories. It marks the start of the new calendar year and is commonly celebrated with gatherings, countdowns, and community events across the country.

The PASS Program will be closed for the holiday season starting December 25 and will re-open on January 5, 2026.

New participants can continue to register during the break, and we’ll be back in the New Year with new nursing webinars to support your journey.
