A few weeks back I took part in a fundraising concert presented by the West End Phoenix. This is the fourth time they’ve asked me to take part and I’ve loved every one. This one was a tribute to the Talking Heads called Start Making Sense. If you’ve seen the concert film you know David Byrne does a costume change at one point and so the rest of the band does a Tom Tom Club song, ‘Genius of Love’. Arguably a bigger hit than anything Talking Heads ever released. And that’s the song I got to perform!
I could only find little snippets of my performance but this is easily the best one.

Pride month is upon us, and it couldn’t have come soon enough. Feels like we need it now more than ever. And while alot of corporate sponsors did pull out from funding Pride Toronto this year there are still seemingly endless events going on. I was lucky to start my Pride gigs early on May 31st DJing a union Pride Conference for Unifor members up in Port Elgin. The most gorgeous little town I never new existed! I followed that with an outdoor Pride celebration for Scotiabank staff at their main building downtown.

June 6th at Gay Gardens. Put on by Yohomo, part of DOWESTFEST. My set is 730pm.
June 7th at The Tranzac. For the Lady 5 drag Pageant. 8pm doors.
June 14th The Badminton & Racquet Club of Toronto. Pride Brunch.
June 28th Earls Court @ The Manulife Centre. Daytime Pride event. 10am-2pm.
June 29th outside the Scotiabank at Yonge&Wellesley I’ll be DJing the entirety of the Parade from 1-7pm!
And a few private gigs amongst these too!
I love being busy as hell during Pride but this is a good reminder that you can book me ALL YEAR LONG lol. xo

What a way to start the year! My first gig of 2025 was a four song set for the Interior Design Show. And while I generally get booked to DJ these days, (which I love fyi keep those 2025 offers coming!), it’s important to remind y’all, and myself, that my first love was always music!
