Did you know using rhymes and songs during baby massage can benefit your baby? Your voice not only carries speech information but it can also be seen as an “auditory face” that enables you to recognise individuals and their emotional states.
Gestures and facial expressions can help enhance your baby’s language and neurological development which are the building blocks for social skills.
So what does this mean for you and your baby? It means it time to start belting out your favourite tunes as seen above 🤪 Your voice is EVERYTHING to your baby’s ears!
In Embrace classes we tend to stick with repetitive and rhyming words to help engage your baby and make it a more mindful experience for both of you.
