A match made in heaven: Kensington Brewing Company Nasch Vienna Lager and a turkey sandwich on rye made from leftover Christmas dinner. Simple but satisfying - this lager has a bit more ‘oomph’ to it than most. Beautiful caramel hue follows through with caramel notes on the palate. The rye brings out the bready notes in the beer and the beer compliments the turkey without overpowering it. The lager’s finish is silky smooth with a hint of sweetness. I’m going to need more of these to accompany all of this leftover turkey!
