New at Family Service Toronto:
Pathways to Counselling – Youth (PTC–Youth), a specialized counselling program for youth with autism (ages 12–17).

Offered through Family Service Toronto, this program provides short-term, goal-focused, and developmentally appropriate counselling designed to support emotional wellbeing, coping skills, and everyday challenges.

PTC–Youth was developed in response to the need for accessible, inclusive, and neurodiversity-affirming mental health services for autistic youth.

Through our neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed, and youth-centered approach, we work collaboratively with youth to support their emotional well-being, build coping skills, strengthen resilience. We recognize and value the diversity of youth diagnosed with autism and support each young person in a way that reflects their strengths, communication style, and goals.

Counselling may support youth with:
• Anxiety, stress, and emotional regulation
• School and peer-related challenges
• Life transitions and change
• Self-esteem and identity development
• Family and interpersonal concerns
• Coping and problem-solving skills

Screening is required to determine program fit, and fees are eligible through the Ontario Autism Program (OAP)
