There’s something really special about being asked to photograph a relationship.
My intention is never to create those cheesy, overly polished moments but to invite people to simply be with each other. With a bit of guidance, they start to relax and that’s when the real connection shows up.
It’s a fine line between staying natural and authentic on camera, while still bringing an artistic eye to the moment. When that happens, the images feel honest and the love speaks for itself.

One month ago, I left for Vancouver Island with no plan except to slow down... and visit my dear friend

What I didn’t expect was how naturally I found myself reaching for my camera—not for work, not for a client, but for the quiet moments in nature.
Before photography became my career, it was my way of being present.
Capturing forests, light on water, textures in trees—that’s how I first fell in love with the creative process.
This trip reminded me of how important it is to return to the things that ground me.
To create just for myself. To notice the little things again.🌿
