This photo was from a very unique and creatively inspiring shoot I did with this week’s photographer feature…Sonia Cacoilo and creative director Kenisha Humber. I had such a memorable time working on this shoot. Both Sonia and Kenisha are talented artists in their own right and when you put them together it’s nothing short of awesome!

About the photographer:
Sonia graduated from the photography program at Ryerson University, receiving honours towards her BFA. Upon graduating, her freelance work lead her to her current position as the Photographer for Cabinet Office of the Ontario Government. Sonia takes event photos for the Premier of Ontario, and shoots stock-imagery for the government to use for on-line and print media.

About the creative director:
Kenisha Humber is the co-founder of a start up collaborative project called DEA, a collective that prides itself on the integrity of original art in every form. She has also been the creative director for River Tiber’s music video “The Star Falls."

Our first feature is the photographer we worked with for our very first Intrinsic shoot, Lindsay Lauckner Gundlock! Featuring two of Intrinsic's founders Michelle Fox and Kurtis Herd.

Lindsay is originally from Toronto and currently based in Mexico City. Her favourite things to shoot are spaces, food, and people. Influenced by her fine art background, she looks for emotion when she photographs. Lindsay earned her B.F.A. in Visual Arts from York University and she has been a recipient of both Ontario Arts Council and Toronto Arts Council grants.

We had a pleasure embarking on our dance photography journey with Lindsay. She brought such wonderful creativity and a beautiful sense of shape to the shoot.
