There's been a lot of vaccination talk in the comments. For the record, I'm fully vaccinated like a lot of my people from the 3rd world. I've also taken the first round of COVID-19 vaccine (not the ones that followed after). But some of the Brothers I deeply admire and respect are antivaxx, and that's okay. Biowarfare is real and it's a net positive that we question everything before we fully commit. Freemasons may disagree on many things but somehow we make it work because we foment open and respectful dialogs where opposing sides learn from each other without feeling the need to condemn one another. I believe society will learn a lot from the Masonic way of dealing with divisive things. 🔺️

The truth about Freemasonry? Some are Democrats, some are Republicans. Some are pro-vax, some are anti-vax. A lodge is simply a reflection of the community it serves.🔺️

If we're to believe the antisemites and anti-Masons, vaccines are part of a Masonic and Jewish conspiracy to control the world's population. But the historical record tells a more complicated story.

The word vaccine comes from the Latin word v***a, meaning "cow." The name traces back to observations that milkmaids who contracted cowpox seemed protected from the far deadlier disease of smallpox. Building on those observations, physician and scientist Edward Jenner, developed what became the first successful vaccine. This creates an interesting tension: Edward Jenner was a Freemason.

So if vaccines are a Masonic conspiracy, they may have a problem. The original purpose of vaccination was not population control. It was preventing one of the deadliest diseases in human history. The irony is that conspiracy theories often transform life-saving inventions into instruments of oppression. The same pattern has appeared throughout history. New technologies, new medicines, and new discoveries frequently attract claims that hidden groups are secretly using them to manipulate society.

In many ways, the vaccine conspiracy follows a familiar script. First comes a mysterious problem. Then comes a hidden enemy. Then comes a secret organization supposedly pulling the strings behind the scenes. The details change, but the story remains the same. Sometimes it is witches. Sometimes it is Freemasons. Sometimes it is Jews. Sometimes it is global elites. The names change, but the narrative is remarkably consistent: someone, somewhere, must secretly be controlling events.

So perhaps the most interesting question is not whether a Freemason helped pioneer vaccination. That's historical fact. The more interesting question is why every major discovery eventually becomes evidence of a conspiracy rather than evidence of human ingenuity.

After all, if Freemasons truly invented vaccines as a means of population control, they chose a remarkably strange method—they started by helping people live longer. 🔺️

If Freemasonry Is "The Craft," Is It Witchcraft?

Many anti-Masons insist that Freemasonry is witchcraft because Masons sometimes refer to their fraternity as The Craft. But where does this accusation actually come from?

Ironically, part of the answer may trace back to ancient Gnostic and Demiurge traditions. In several Gnostic systems, the physical world was said to have been fashioned by a lesser creator called the Demiurge—an ignorant being who believed he alone was God. The Demiurge was often portrayed as a cosmic craftsman or architect who "crafted" the material world while remaining blind to a higher spiritual reality.

Over time, some Gnostic sects identified the God of the Hebrew Bible with this flawed creator. In other words, the accusation that a divine craftsman is somehow deceptive or evil was frequently directed at the God worshipped by the Jews. This became one of the earliest theological foundations for anti-Jewish polemics in certain fringe religious movements.

That raises an interesting question:

If the very idea that a "craftsman" is secretly evil originated from traditions that demonized the God of Israel as a false creator, why are modern conspiracy theorists so comfortable repeating the same logic?

Freemasonry uses the language of building because it inherited symbolism from medieval stonemasons. A craft is simply a trade, skill, or vocation. We still speak of craftsmen, aircraft, watercraft, and handcrafted goods without assuming magic is involved.

So before declaring that "The Craft" means witchcraft, perhaps ask:
