Drove 1.5 hours out of Toronto to spend my Friday cherry picking at Cherry Avenue Farms! ππ¨ Absolutely worth every minute of the drive to get some fresh air and fill up baskets with fresh cherries before dive into my weekend workload. π§Ίβ¨

I used to be so blind to the beauty of Mindanao. To be honest, I didn't even know Cotabato existed in the Philippines! π
Whenever I heard about Mindanao, I used to feel scared because of the bad news and stories about violence. But love changes everything. I married my husband, who is proud to call Cotabato home. Falling in love with him meant falling in love with his roots, and I know I have nothing to fear because he will protect me when we visit his hometown. β€οΈ
Right now, my heart breaks seeing the news. A severe typhoon has hit the area, causing heavy flooding and putting so many familiesβ
