It is with profound sadness that SUTA Toronto Chapter announces the passing of Dr. Jahangir (Jahan) Tavakkoli, a respected member of our community and a cherished individual who was deeply admired for his kindness, intellect, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

Dr. Tavakkoli's contributions to the Iranian and engineering communities will forever be remembered. His dedication, both as a professional and as a valued member of our association, inspired many and left an enduring legacy.

The burial service for Dr. Tavakkoli will take place on:

Time: 10:00 AM
Location: Emam Mahdi Centre, 7340 Bayview Ave, Thornhill

Burial to follow at 12:00 PM at Elgin Mills Cemetery, located at 1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill.

Our hearts and prayers are with Dr. Tavakkoli's family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

With profound sadness, we share the news of Mr. Changiz Sadr’s passing in Toronto two days ago. His loss is deeply felt by our community and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Mr. Sadr was more than just a dedicated engineer; he was a visionary whose passion and commitment to excellence touched many lives. His innovative spirit and significant contributions to the engineering profession, recognized by honors such as the Most Dedicated Communications Engineering Consultant in Ontario and the Canada Sovereign's Medal, will forever be remembered.

We mourn the loss of an extraordinary leader and a cherished member of our community. Our hearts go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

- Backgammon Tournament with prizes to winners
- Volleyball games are part of the summer picnic as usual.
- The sports fields are available for other games.
- Please bring your Card and Board games, sports gear (soccer ball, badminton rackets, etc.)
- Kids' games and talent shows

To make the event as enjoyable as possible, individuals and groups who wish to show their talents in singing, playing music, dancing, etc. are welcome

Milne Dam Park is an Environmentally protected Conservation Park, so there is an entrance fee that will be collected by park staff at the entrance:

Seniors: $3.50
Children 15 & Under: Free
