The last few months have been a blur, parenting 2 young girls full time, home schooling and running a business has its challenges to say the least. But as we move into a more positive environment for small businesses this will all be in the past (I hope).

Anyways, it was sooooo nice to see this beautiful red silk sofa we reupholstered for which was photographed just before the lockdown ❤️

FOOTPRINTS. Mass-manufacturing is a huge culprit in global warming and there are ways as a designer to lower your carbon footprint. My Eco Resolution includes using natural materials as much as possible and upcycling furniture. Upcycling gives new life to existing designs while saving energy and preserving craft. I use my warehouse as an archive for vintage pieces that I can give new life to with a fraction of the energy used. xk

Happy New Year to all our amazing followers! In setting our goals for 2020, one of our top priorities is using locally sourced and sustainable materials, such as wood for the furniture frames we manufacture.
