My name is Anita Krajnc. In 2015, I stood by the side of a road in Ontario, watching a transport truck packed with pigs on its way to slaughter. It was a sweltering day. The pigs were panting, crammed together, desperate for relief. I did what any compassionate person would do. I gave them water. For that simple act, I was charged with mischief and faced potential time behind bars. The world watched as my case played out in court. It sparked a movement that became Animal Save Movement. Today, I'm writing to ask for your help to keep this movement alive and growing. Every day, our dedicated volunteers stand at slaughterhouse gates across the world, bearing witness to animals in their final moments. These vigils are acts of love, grief, and solidarity. I've seen firsthand how powerful these moments can be. Thousands of people—many not yet vegan—have attended our vigils and walked away forever changed.
