A bit about me: As a spoken word poet, I’ve brought my poetry to almost every city across Canada, including across Europe (London, Berlin, Paris), and my most recent poetry collection is As Close to the Edge Without Going Over (Kelp Queen Press).
My first theatre show JEWNIQUE debuted in May 2018 and it has since toured to Ottawa, Calgary and Blue Mountain Resort.
I’m the founder of Toronto Poetry Slam, a twice-monthly spoken word series at the Drake Hotel in downtown Toronto. I retired in March 2020.
I also work as a journalist, publishing my work in BBC News, The Washington Post, The Globe & Mail, Business Insider, New Scientist, Buzzfeed, Vice, Gamespot, Merry Jane, NOW Magazine, Canadian Jewish News, Ars Technica and many more.
