Another demo recording of “Wish Beyond The Snow”, an original Christmas song I wrote 🎄✨

Still a work in progress—my melodist Vlu Reyes is currently finishing the keyboard recording, and hopefully it’ll be done by tomorrow, just in time for Christmas Eve.

This is still in the processing and test stage, and the video you’ll hear is only for demo purposes. I’m the one singing here just to present the song, but I won’t be the final vocalist.

We’re planning to properly record this next year, and I’ll be looking for a permanent singer for the track. I truly believe this song would be a beautiful fit for a female voice, especially one that can carry warmth, sincerity, and emotional depth.

About the song & its meaning:
“Wish Beyond The Snow” reflects how our understanding of Christmas changes as we grow. It starts with memories of childhood wonder—gifts, lights, and traditions—but slowly shifts to something deeper. The song is about realizing that the world doesn’t need more presents as much as it needs kindness, empathy, healing words, and compassion.

The “snow” symbolizes the surface beauty of the season—the decorations, celebrations, and nostalgia—while the wish beyond it represents a deeper prayer: for hearts to mend, for love to grow, for warmth to reach those who feel lost, unseen, or forgotten. It’s a reminder that not every star grants a wish, but we can choose to be the light for someone else.

This Christmas, the song asks a simple but powerful question:
What if love itself became the gift we give?
