As we continue to be bombarded with headlines about inflation, interest rates, food insecurity, global instability and so on - this post is a gentle reminder to take a deep breath. Our nervous system is highjacked and it is easy to spiral out of control in moments of high stress. These challanges are real and they certainly can infuse fear and a sense of hopelessness and demotivation. This is where mindfulness and selfcare practices go a long way in helping you build resiliancy and make space for creative solutions. Necessity is the mother of invention, and in times like these, we need creativity and innovation to help us through. Enough contribution to feel needed. Enough silliness to have fun. And enough money to pay the bills and then some"

When I work with my clients, I coach them first on the mindset and help them uncover their existing limiting beliefs. I do not jump into action mode. Action motivated by fear yield to unsatisfactory results. Action inspired by truth, meaning and purpose leads to true success. We are programmed to take action. But I strongly suggest that you start implementing time between impulse and action to ensure you're in alignment.
