𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲 - 𝟏𝟏𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫

At 11.00am tomorrow, Tuesday 11th November, Truro will observe a 2-minute silence at the Truro War Memorial on Boscawen Street, to mark the ending of the First World War in 1918.

This short service will be led by the Royal British Legion Truro Branch, accompanied by Cllr Chris Wells, Mayor of Truro; Lionel Knight, Truro Town Crier; David Rodda MBE, Truro City Council Town Clerk; and other dignitaries and military personnel.

We will remember them.

This morning, Town of Truro staff painted the two crosswalks across from the Cenotaph in honour of Remembrance Day.

The freshly painted design serves as a daily reminder to pause, reflect, and remember the sacrifices made by those who served and continue to serve.
