Day Four: A Hopeful Horizon
Today’s reflection is about hope—what fuels it, where it comes from, and what keeps it alive.
For me, it’s my family. They’re my greatest why—the reason I push forward, even when it’s tough.

My father was a living example of grit and devotion. Life on the farm taught us more than just how to work—it taught us resilience, patience, and the value of showing up with everything you’ve got.

Every day, I challenge myself to grow—to push past comfort and into discomfort, because that’s where progress lives. I RISE early to lift heavy, run hard, and confront my limits head-on—so that life’s chaos feels a little more manageable. I’m intentionally creating discomfort to build strength.

Now it’s your turn: take a moment to think about what keeps you moving.
Hope is a force—and so are you.

It’s time to RISE: the sunrise challenge week begins today! I rise with the sun every day for my own mental health, but this week is dedicated to CAMH and the work they are doing to solve the most complex issues in mental health! I am dedicating my focus this week to the Walkerton community and the profound loss felt by so many!
The boys and I are sending our deepest condolences not only to Jess, Casey, Wade and Lennox but to all those affected by this tragedy. We are sending every ounce of light, love and healing to everyone while wearing blue to show our support to the Walkerton school community! In the face of loss, it’s easy to feel isolated, but know that you are not alone. Our community is a network of love and support! Let’s find strength in each other’s hearts!

Day Two: Find the Beauty Around You | Everyday I RISE and take a mindful moment to notice what’s around me - the colours in the sky, the stillness of the trees, birdsong, the calm in my house before my wild boys wake up 😂 In our hectic lives, we often miss the beauty around us. We rush by, distracted and harried. There is beauty everywhere - sometimes we just need to slow down enough to notice it! I challenge you to pause, connect and set the tone for your day!
