Story Time!

March has thrown some major curve balls my way so I haven’t been as active on Social Media as I’d like.

What happened?

✨The boys started daycare and they are thriving and loving it, however, we got hit really hard with a cold / flu, could be Covid (who the hell knows at this point 🤷‍♀️). Regardless we are all pretty well recovered now and carrying on like usual.
✨ We discovered black mould in my son’s room which explains why he’s been waking up super congested and not sleeping well for the past while. After moving him into our room and about 10 loads of laundry later, we are figuring out some normalcy amongst the chaos.
✨ I have found myself feeling really overwhelmed and having a hard time focusing on my own business. I’ve been consistent with working out at home and that has been amazing therapy to keep me going through all of this.

What I’ve learned:

✨ Kids are insanely resilient. They literally bounce back from anything life throws there way! Between going to a completely new environment, to getting a brutal cold, to having our house flipped upside unexpectedly, they just go with the flow and enjoy the ride!
✨ I’ve put less pressure on my business this month to focus on my family and myself. This has allowed me to have some breathing room to being compassionate with myself and this situation, increase my self care by working out consistently and just being okay with the fact that March has turned into a complete s**t show.
✨ I’ve learned to put my ego aside and ask for help to get through this rough patch. That has helped to take such a weight off my shoulders!

TRUTH BOMB 💥

You never feel ready to have kids but you knew you wanted to do it, the same applies to building a business.

Making that decision to start your family is a huge life-changing decision but you knew deep down that you wanted to be a parent and you wanted to feel fulfilled and have a purpose in this world! So you made it happen or making it happen!
