☀️ AKR Early June Arrivals Update! ☀️
Summer is officially here, and so are our newest West Coast alumni! Let’s give a massive welcome to our June AKR pups. 🐾
June 6 | Vancouver & The Island: Jerome & Haetae (now Deku) landed safely to meet their families! Jerome is now living his best life on the island, and Deku is settling beautifully into Vancouver. Both boys are thriving thanks to their loving new pawrents!
June 10 | Vancouver: Jadu & Peanut have arrived! Jadu went straight into the arms of his forever family. Peanut initially went to his amazing foster, Jaeyeol, but we have incredible news - Peanut has already been adopted by his forever family! Huge thanks to his fosters for making this transition possible.
June 15 | San Francisco: Fox arrived in SF as a foster-to-adopt pup, and we are thrilled to announce he has officially graduated to being fully adopted by his family and furry big brother, Harley! Fox is a total cuddler who perfectly respects Harley’s space. We know these two are well on their way to being best friends!
June 19 | Vancouver & Seattle:Hiro (now Hank) & Bailey (now Sora) touched down in Vancouver! Both are happy, healthy, and settling in great. Please support their journeys by following their IGs: and !
On the same day, Billy arrived in Seattle into loving hands! After just a few days of love and care, this confident little furball is already doing so well that his mom was able to go back to work. What a good boy! 🎉
First Half of June | More Forever Homes!: Dotori officially found their forever home and is now out enjoying the Canadian West in Edmonton! 🍁 Shadoni is officially a Vancouver resident! She has happily settled into her forever home after saying a sweet goodbye to her wonderful foster family, Adniel and Marley. Thank you both for setting her up for success!

🎉AKR GTA REUNION 🎉

Who's ready for the weekend? is throwing their biggest event of the year, and we've been invited to participate in their new Rescue Reunion activation!

Join us this Sunday June 14th at Barkham where we'll be having our AKR alumni Reunion from 1:30-3pm. Adoptees, volunteers, and fosters are all welcome to join! There will also be a breed meetup for all jindo mixes at 4pm the same day!
