🐾 Meet Paco 🐾

Paco and his sister Nora were adopted locally in Mexico years ago by a couple. However, earlier this year they were found wandering the streets once again.
Their rescuer recognized them and contacted the family, who explained that they had recently welcomed a baby and could no longer care for them.

Sadly, Paco and Nora had been neglected. They were covered in ticks, sick, dirty, and in poor condition. Fortunately, their rescuer stepped in once again and brought them to safety.

Since then, Paco has received all the care he needed. He has been vaccinated, neutered, treated for his medical issues, and even had a dental cleaning. Unfortunately, several teeth had to be removed because they were in very poor condition.

Today, Paco is a happy, healthy, and incredibly loving dog looking for his forever family. ❤️

Paco enjoys playing with other dogs, going for walks, and spending time with his people. He is the kind of companion who would happily join you on your daily adventures and then relax by your side afterward.

He loves sunbathing in the morning, enjoys mealtime very much, and absolutely loves sleeping cuddled up next to his person in bed. He isn't a fan of being carried, he's an independent little guy.
At home, Paco has a calm, low-energy personality, but he's always ready for a walk, an outing, or a new adventure.

He likes to chase cats, so he is looking for a cat-free home.

One day, my sister China and I were spotted running down a busy avenue. Several people tried to rescue us, but we were so frightened that we kept running into traffic, making it impossible for anyone to get close enough to catch us.

Our story was shared on social media, and throughout the day, kind people posted updates about where they had seen us. Finally, that evening, a wonderful couple found us and, with a lot of patience, earned our trust.

After more than two weeks, no one came forward to claim us, and we eventually arrived at Project Harmony.

I am currently living in a wonderful foster home with Johanna, who has cared for us since we arrived in Canada. I share my home with children, another dog, and even cats, and I get along well with everyone.

I almost always have a smile on my face. I'm a happy little girl who loves to run and play with my sister, but I'm also very affectionate and enjoy cuddling with my people, especially at bedtime.
I'm clean and fully house-trained, great on car rides, and I walk nicely on a leash. I love going for walks and being part of your daily adventures.

I do have one little quirk, I'm a bit of a picky eater and prefer my kibble mixed with wet food.

China and I would love to be adopted together because we've always had each other, but we know that finding a home for two dogs can be difficult. For that reason, we are also open to separate adoptions if the right family comes along.
