How do you make yourself at home? Participants needed in the Making Housing Home research project! We’re using interviews and collaborative mapping of daily activities to help us understand how housing is important in making people feel at home. Participants will be asked to take part in multiple interviews over two years, involving an expectation of about 90 minutes per interview. We offer $25 gift certificates in thanks after every interview, and participants can withdraw from the research at any time. The UBC-based project looks at home, housing, and everyday life in two very different settings (Vancouver, BC and Arviat, Nunavut). If interested, participants may also elect to take part in sub-studies, including photo gathering and GPS tracking. For inquiries or to sign up for the project, please contact Professor Nathanael Lauster’s team via Facebook or e-mail: [email protected] or reach us via telephone: (778) 628-7948.
