1:1 correspondence is the difference between memorizing numbers and understanding the concept that each number represents a different quantity!
Practice 1:1 correspondence in natural ways by:
✏️ making sure every finger has a spot when putting on winter gloves
✏️ seeing if every student at a table has a blue crayon
✏️ checking that every spot has a plate when setting the table
✏️ placing 5 chocolate chips in each pancake
