Huge thanks to for the action-packed day where a boatload of trigger-happy photographers and videographers had the opportunity to capture some magnificent creatures that roam our beautiful seas. Needless to say, we had a whale of a time! 📸 🎥 🐳🐋🦭🦅✨

I had the honour of capturing the 2023 Hungry Hearts culinary competition that raised over $215,000 for Our Place Society. A new record, and enough to ensure that Our Place can afford the protein needed this year for the 1,200 meals they serve each day to those in need.
This year’s event featured eight culinary teams who battled it out to win the hearts of over 200 mouth-watering guests, where Zambri's, SYSCO Foods and the Fairmont Empress took the top honours.
The event also featured a brave young man who won my heart for sharing his inspiring journey, rising from the ashes to where he stands tall today.
I dedicate this video to him and the good folks at Our Place who support those who struggle with homelessness, mental health challenges, substance use issues, the working poor, and the impoverished elderly.
If you haven’t been to a Hungry Hearts event just yet, I encourage you to keep an eye out for next year’s gala event in the fall of 2024.
