In February, the Bellemare Records crew had the pleasure of attending the Song & Surf Music Festival in Port Renfrew. Put on by the lovely team from Tall Tree Music Festival, Song & Surf is a truly unique musical gathering with an undeniable sense of community. It's hard to know whether it's the misty, west-coast mornings, the lack of cell reception, the incredible line-up, or all the new friends and connections that make Song & Surf so special, but we do know that the time we spent there was pure magic.
The weekend was full of highlights, but a couple to share with you: the mesmerizing talent of Luca Fogale, the happy reunion with BMR001 friends Hawk and Steel, the epic dance party for Bocce Avocado, Betty and Kora and their "No Bad Times" mandate, the amazing in-ground, beach-front, home-made hot tub from the boys at ANIÁN, and so very much more.
Big thanks to the Tall Tree team for having us. If you missed out on Song & Surf make sure you don't make the same mistake next year.
